Mercy me, sakes alive, and carrot coffee! How can we restore America’s greatness? Now wait just a minute! I don’t mean that we are not still great, because we are; but let there be no doubt that we need to make some improvements, politically, economically, and otherwise! Let us think together about it:

Honesty is the best policy! Don’t ever forget that, especially in our family life, community activity, and politics. We, as a people, have lost faith in the honesty of our political and government leaders, both democrats and republicans! All the polls show this to be true.

We must get rid of the lobbyists and let our elected officials run our country!

How many lobbyists are there in Washington? One internet report said 37,000 and another said 14,500! But since we have only 100 senators and 435 congressmen, for a total of 535 individuals, it is quite clear as to the extent to which they are surrounded by lobbyists with money in their pockets to be used to steer legislation to please the special interests.
